NATIONAL LIBRARY
Formerly called Wachirayarn Library for the Capital, the National Library was founded 1905 by the order of King Rama V.
Main Building: Many kinds of reading matter can be found here, from Royal gazettes to novels, newspapers and magazines. The books are classified and arranged according to subject, for example, the Prof. Rapee Sacrik Library provides information on orchids and Luang Vijitvatakarn Library contains rare books.

KING RAMA IX MUSIC LIBRARY HALL The hall houses a collection of His Majesty's music manuscripts and notebooks, recording audio and video tapes and CDs.
Apart from opportunities to study a research His Majesty's literary and musical works, it also enables visitors to listen to His Majesty's music.
CROWN PRINCESS SIRINDHORN
MUSIC LIBRARY HALL The library contains original manuscripts of both classical and contemporary Thai music. It is a centre of information and research for Thai and foreign music, old and new, in a variety of forms a styles.
The Library Hall is divided into a number rooms such as Luang Vichit-Vadakan Room, HSH Boripatra Music Room, Phra Jane-duriyang Room,
Montri Tramote Room and Suntaraporn Room. Each exhibits the works, honours, books and personal effects of the person after whom the room was named.
NATIONAL ARCHIVE HALL
Founded for the purpose of preserving the country , historical documents. The section provides the archive materials for study and research in two categories.
Official Written Records: These include Royal decrees, orders, announcements, memos, legislative bills, minutes of meetings, government publications and correspondence.
Audio-Visual Records: These include cas?settes, posters, maps, diagrams, slides, photographs, movie! and articles related to events of national significance.
NATIC NALFILM HALL
The task of the National Film Hall is'to select, review, collect and conserve documents relating to films which are considered to have historical or cultural value. It also offers a compre?hensive information service providing documents and references for study and research.
There are approximately 58,000 films including 50,000 items of news footage, 4,000 documentaries and 800 movies. They are now'
Kept at the National Film Hall's facility at Salaya, in Nakhorn Prathom province.
KMIG AJIRAVUDH MEMORIAL HALL
This was built at the northern edge of the National Library compound to celebrate the centenary of the birth of King Rama VI in 1891.
Loyal Exhibition of King Vajiravudh: This contains 12 rooms, divided according to various Royal activities, such as the Experimenting with Democracy Room, the Ascending the Throne Room, and the Preserving the Thai Heritate Room.
Kirtirath Room: Portraits of King Rama V, Queen Saovabha and King Rama VI, as well as commemrative medals and coins from the reign of King Rama VI can be seen here.
Porasurama Room: This room contains two life-size wax models of King Rama VI in full regalia.
