Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklaram Ratchaworamahawihan (Wat Pho)
King Rama III had royally initiated this holy temple as the ?Public University? a fine collection of eight poetry genres: temple history, medical text, sanitation, tradition, Thai literature, comparative poetry, and Buddhism. The temple had been renamed as ?Wat Phra Chetuphon Vimolmangklaram? in the reign of King Rama IV.
Nowadays, the temple has been holding training sessions for traditional meditation, the graduates of which are awarded a medical practice certificate from the Ministry of Health.
